Touring The Matriarch (and the red kind of vinyl)

Posted By on September 17, 2012 in blablabla | 5 comments

The solo tour of The Matriarch And The Wrong Kind Of Flowers gets underway this week as I play at Vigelands Mausoleum – where most of the album was recorded – and continue with Inderøy Jazzforum, and a “proper” release gig at Blå in Oslo, before heading to Germany, Slovenia, UK, Netherlands and Sweden.
Although I am really looking forward to all of these gigs there are a couple of special ones. At Inderøy, Blå and at Ekko Festival in Bergen I’ll be joined by the fabulous video artist Pekka Stokke, and in addition we will be playing in full surround at the Ekko Festival!!! How cool is that!!??¡¡

The red.
As you might have heard we pressed 100 special edition red vinyls. 60 of them got sold through Rune Grammofon on the release day, the rest will be sold at gigs only. If you wish to purchase one of these please note: there will only be 2 copies for sale at each gig throughout this tour.
This is just so I can have copies to bring along on the entire tour.
